Welcome back to Sewing Therapy! I’m, Sara.
Today, we’re tackling an interesting and very useful project: downsizing the waist of a pair of pants, from the front. While waist alterations from the back are more common, there are certain times when a front alteration is called for, like this one! The back of these pants has an elastic waistband, making the front a simpler choice for alteration. I’ve already completed one side for a quick Instagram reel, so let’s get started on the other side.
